Lucky: (1) Having good things happen to you by chance.

Every time someone says, “you’re so lucky”, in response to how I have structured my professional and personal life, a quick smile flashes across my face. Success achieved: I am believable. Internally, I cringe and shed a silent tear because I feel like a faker. I know the power of smoke and mirrors.

As someone afflicted by “wanderlust”, I am constantly met with the challenge of communicating in foreign countries. 

With the increased rate of globalization, fueled by the ease of e-commerce (among other factors), it is imperative that brand owners understand their branding needs at the earliest opportunity.

As I inch closer to my midlife crisis, I find myself in a sea of friends and acquaintances who are having (and naming) babies. Being privy to the long list, the names that have been struck from the list must, surely, each have a reason for being rejected.

I love clever shows. I love allegories.

Aside from the clever writing and beautiful cinematography, something deeper resonated within while watching “The Queen’s Gambit”. Was this because my experience and departure from big law was like a game of chess?

My love for all things wine comes naturally. With French roots and having married a “mezzo Italiano” (half-Italian), it’s in my blood. So, it should come as no surprise that when Michael popped the question, our engagement photoshoot would occur in a vineyard.
